Description
Ideally situated right in the centre of Jard-sur-Mer, this authentic, tastefully renovated family home welcomes you just a few steps from the shops, restaurants and the market, and about 1 km from Morpoigne beach. As you enter, you’ll find a pleasant, light-filled living area comprising a cosy lounge and a fully equipped kitchen opening onto the dining room – the perfect spot for sharing quality time with family or friends. A hallway, which doubles as a reading nook or relaxation area, leads to a bedroom with a 160 cm double bed and an en-suite shower room with a toilet, separated by a door. Upstairs, the mezzanine offers two sleeping areas under the eaves: - a first sleeping area with a BZ sofa bed, - a second area with two 90 cm single beds. Please note: the ceiling height on the upper floor is low, particularly at the top of the stairs where it is approximately 1.25 m. Most of the mezzanine is no more than 1.80 m high, which adds to the unique charm of this old house but requires a degree of caution. Outside, you’ll enjoy a lovely enclosed garden featuring several relaxation areas, perfect for unwinding in the shade or the sun, a terrace with an awning, complete with garden furniture and an electric barbecue for al fresco dining, and a covered arbour. This characterful house will appeal to those who appreciate authenticity and are looking for a peaceful holiday whilst still being within easy reach of the entertainment on offer in the centre of Jard-sur-Mer. Good to know: it is also possible to rent the adjoining studio to increase the accommodation capacity and bring family or friends together for the holidays.
