Welcome to Les Granges Aster & Adonis, two authentic, fully renovated stone barns situated in Cazaux-Fréchet, a charming mountain village perched at an altitude of 1,100 metres, in the heart of the Hautes-Pyrénées. From the house, enjoy exceptional views over the Louron Valley, Lake Génos-Loudenvielle and the Pyrenean peaks. Here, the peace and quiet, the natural surroundings and the wide open spaces offer the ideal setting to recharge your batteries with family or friends, in both summer and winter. Nestled between the Aure Valley and the Spanish Val d’Aran, discover a region brimming with activities: hiking, mountain biking, cycling, skiing, white-water sports, Balnéa, farmers’ markets, charming villages and unspoilt landscapes. Two accommodation options that can be tailored to your needs The Aster and Adonis barns, named in honour of the Pyrenees’ iconic flora, can accommodate up to 10 people. It is also possible to rent just the Aster barn (2 to 6 people) or to book for a short stay or a weekend (please contact us). The ASTER barn (2 to 6 people) The main barn combines the charm of stone and wood with the comfort of modern facilities. Ground floor Bedroom 1: 1 double bed (140 × 190) Bedroom 2: 1 double bed (140 × 190) and 2 bunk beds (90 × 190) Bathroom with walk-in shower, massage jets and steam room function Separate toilet Two large fitted wardrobes First floor The spacious, open-plan living area is bathed in light thanks to its large windows. On one side, a floor-to-ceiling window offers a remarkable panoramic view of the valley and the mountains; on the other, there is direct access to the large wooden terrace. Here you will find: a comfortable lounge with a large corner sofa, armchairs, a television, a DVD player and a hi-fi system; a fully equipped kitchen: fridge-freezer, induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, extractor hood, coffee maker, kettle, toaster and everything you need for cooking; a large, convivial dining table seating up to 10 guests; a utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer and storage space. For families with young children, baby equipment is provided (cot, high chair and changing mat). Heating is provided by a wood-burning stove (wood supplied), supplemented by underfloor heating, for optimal comfort all year round. The ADONIS cottage (sleeps 4) Accessible directly from the terrace, the cottage is the ideal addition to the accommodation. On the ground floor: bathroom with walk-in shower; toilet. Upstairs, a large loft-style room comprises: 1 double bed (140 × 190); 2 single beds (90 × 190), one of which is a pull-out bed; a relaxation area with a sofa; a large wardrobe. Heating via electric convector heaters. Outdoor areas The large wooden terrace is a real living space where you can enjoy the panoramic views of the mountains. It is equipped with: sun loungers; a dining table and parasol; a plancha. A garage is also available for storing bikes, skis, hiking gear or sports equipment.
