Description
Spanning 385 m² across three floors, Chalet Les Alpes offers spacious living areas without compromising on its occupants’ privacy. On the ground floor, the garage includes storage space for skis and bikes, as well as a boot dryer. A games room with a pool table and table football, a utility room equipped with a washing machine and tumble dryer, and plenty of storage space make everyday life easier. The first floor forms the heart of the chalet. The fully equipped open-plan kitchen opens onto a dining room designed to seat 20 people and onto the furnished terrace. The large living room, panelled in reclaimed timber and featuring a fireplace, creates a particularly welcoming mountain atmosphere. This level also includes a children’s play area, a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, a separate bathroom and a separate toilet. The upper floors feature six further bedrooms, including several family rooms and suites. Each bedroom has its own en-suite shower room or bathroom, a separate toilet, a hairdryer and a television. A reading and relaxation area under the eaves offers a peaceful retreat. After a day in the Portes du Soleil, relax in the hot tub on the covered terrace, by the open fire or over a game of pool. Access map
By train and bus: Thonon-les-Bains station is accessible via the Léman Express, followed by a bus connection to Châtel, which is about 45 minutes’ drive away. The Swiss station at Aigle is about 35 minutes away by taxi or shuttle. A free shuttle bus stop is located 200 metres from the chalet and serves the village centre as well as the ski areas. Service frequency varies depending on the season. By bike: the centre of Châtel is about 800 metres away. Road bikes, mountain bikes and electric mountain bikes are available for hire in the village. Bikes, skis and equipment can be stored in the garage. Shared transport: car-sharing, taxis and private transfers are available from Thonon-les-Bains, Aigle or Geneva Airport. Additional facilities: locked garage, ski and bike storage room, boot dryer, outdoor parking and two charging points for electric vehicles.
