💚 Eau Douce: a nature retreat for two Welcome to the Eau Douce holiday cottage at L’Éden de l’Oust, situated in Bains-sur-Oust, in Ille-et-Vilaine. Fancy slowing down and recharging your batteries in the countryside? This cosy holiday cottage invites you to enjoy a peaceful setting, surrounded by nature and animals. You’ll enjoy a comfortable interior, a wooden terrace and a private garden to make the most of your stay. 📍 Close to the Nantes–Brest Canal and hiking trails, the holiday cottage is an ideal base for exploring inland Brittany. You’ll be staying in southern Brittany, near Redon and La Gacilly. Set on one level, this accommodation offers an atmosphere perfect for relaxation, walks and the simple pleasures of the countryside. 🛋️ Decor inspired by Scandinavian design The gîte charms with its tasteful décor and warm atmosphere. Its Nordic style, inspired in particular by the owners’ daughter who lives in Denmark, brings a minimalist and soothing touch to this nature-oriented accommodation. 🏡 A cosy and well-equipped holiday home With a floor area of 38 m², the holiday home can comfortably accommodate 2 to 4 people, depending on the bedding arrangement. The living area comprises an open-plan kitchen, a dining area and a relaxation space. You’ll find, amongst other things, an Orange Smart TV, induction hobs, a dishwasher, a fridge-freezer, an oven, a microwave, a pressure cooker, a hand mixer, a blender and a raclette machine. Everything you need is provided to cook with ease and enjoy delicious meals together. The sofa bed converts into a 160 × 200 cm bed. The bathroom features a shower, a vanity unit and a toilet separate from the living area. A sloping-ceiling mezzanine completes the layout. Its cosy atmosphere accommodates two additional sleeping spaces: two 90 × 200 cm beds or one 180 × 200 cm bed. It is accessed via a comfortable staircase. These sleeping arrangements are available on request and at an additional cost. 🌳 A private garden to enjoy the great outdoors The outdoor area is a lovely extension of the cottage’s natural feel. Settle down outside to enjoy your meals, relax in the sun or watch the animals in lush green surroundings. A wooden terrace furnished with a dining table. Private garden equipped with two sun loungers, a picnic table and two reclining chairs near a water feature. A soothing view of the goat enclosure. You may approach and stroke the animals, with the owners’ permission. A communal storage area shared with another holiday cottage, ideal for storing bikes, e-bikes and pushchairs. It also includes a power socket for charging bikes, a washing machine, a toilet and outdoor games. Carport parking within an enclosed and secure property. 🧺 Facilities and services for a relaxing stay Travel light thanks to the facilities and services provided on site: Bed linen, towels and kitchen tea towels are provided. Beds are made up on your arrival. Orange Smart TV with radio, catch-up TV and games. Wi-Fi included. A small selection of dry groceries available. End-of-stay cleaning is compulsory, at an additional cost of €60. Pets are permitted as an optional extra, at an additional cost of €15 per pet per stay. Two additional beds on the mezzanine, available on request and at an extra charge. ♿ Accessibility: a few points to bear in mind The holiday cottage has a few steps leading to the accommodation and the terrace. It is therefore not suitable for people with reduced mobility who require step-free access. You’ll be able to see donkeys, goats, sheep, chickens, a dog and cats. The presence of these animals adds an authentic and friendly touch to your stay. It is particularly popular with children and lovers of country life. The site is also home to an Animal-Assisted Therapy Centre, dedicated to the relationship between humans and animals. A stay at L’Éden de l’Oust means treating yourself to a break in the countryside, taking the time to watch the animals and reconnecting with a soothing natural environment. 🏘️ Two holiday cottages on the same site, each with its own privacy The ‘Eau Douce’ holiday cottage is adjoining the ‘Dame Nature’ holiday cottage, which is also available to rent via Clévacances. Both properties are self-contained and each has its own private area. This means you can enjoy your stay in complete tranquillity, whilst sharing the same natural surroundings.
