GAMES AND SPORTS ROOM A games room for everyone, equipped with a real table football, an electronic dart board for the older children and plenty of playmobils for the younger ones. A rowing machine is also at your disposal, so you can exercise while gazing out over the valley. ENVIRONMENTALLY-FRIENDLY GÎTES Gérardmer is at the heart of the Ballons des Vosges Regional Nature Park, and our house is part of this project. The house has photovoltaic panels that generate clean electricity. Waste sorting is very simple locally. What's more, we're keen to preserve as much of the garden's natural appearance as possible, so that we can continue to see the thousands of daffodils that are so celebrated in Gérardmer come into bloom every spring. That's why we carry out late mowing, so that you can lie down on a carpet of fragrant flowers and admire the butterflies and insects. ENJOY NATURE AND SPORTS ACTIVITIES! Every season in the Vosges has its own pleasures to offer: spring is full of flowers and festivities with the daffodil harvest and festival, while summer is a time for sport and relaxation thanks to the nearby lakes and their water sports. Hikers, cyclists and paragliding enthusiasts will not be outdone. Autumn brings mushrooms and breathtaking views of the Alpine peaks from the Crêtes. Winter, of course, brings its snow, to the delight of skiers, snowshoe hikers and children on sledges. The swimming pool, skating rink and bowling alley complex can also fill a lazy day. Competitions of all kinds are held regularly in Gérardmer, so find out more!
