The advantages of the accommodation
Description
As indicated on the pediment above our front door, our guest house was built in Year 12 of the French Republic, that is, in 1804. We are delighted to welcome you here for a cosy stay and to help you discover our beautiful region, on the border with Belgium and Luxembourg. As a nod to the history of the place, our rooms — two named after dates in the Republican calendar and one inspired by the local limestone — welcome you to an authentic and peaceful setting in the heart of the village. For your peace of mind, the property has a large, enclosed car park with CCTV. In fine weather, our large garden is the perfect place to relax or enjoy a game on our pétanque court (balls available on request). A fully equipped kitchen is also at your disposal so you can prepare your own meals, which you can then enjoy in the house’s cosy dining room.
Home
We’ll welcome you in person on your arrival to help you settle in, show you round the house and direct you to the secure car park. Keen to ensure you have a pleasant stay, we’ll take the time to share our recommendations for the region and cater to your needs, all in a warm and friendly, family-oriented atmosphere.

As indicated by the inscription carved on the pediment above the front door, this house was built in Year XII of the French Republic, that is, in 1804. From the time of its construction until we purchased it, it was occupied by the Courbariaux family. Originally, the house was extended by a huge barn, which in turn led onto a vast garden. The relatively narrow gateway was flanked by two elegant rounded pillars. The house now enjoys a commanding view over the main street and, in the distance, the limestone meadow. In 1940, it was requisitioned to house a youth camp.
