Located down the road from the small typical village of Saligos, the "La Bergerie" was built in a traditional barn in stones and wood. It has a dominant position, and gives you a beautiful view of the surrounding peaks. Situated only 3 km from Luz-Saint-Sauveur, it is the best location to enjoy the calm and quiet of a mountain surrounding as well as the proximity of all the services a small mountain town can provide : supermarket, all sorts of shops, restaurants and bars, together with a thermal complex and an outdoor swimming pool in the summer.. "La Bergerie" is on the road to the big sites of the Pyrenees : cirque de Gavarnie, Col du Tourmalet, Pic du Midi and of the ski resorts of Luz Ardiden, Grand Tourmalet, Gavarnie. It is also only half an hour's drive from Lourdes and less than two hours from Spain. The area is particularly famous for cycling, mountain biking, hiking, climbing, parapenting, skiing etc... "La bergerie" has been equipped so that you can feel at home and will provide you with everything you need to make your stay comfortable :  the ground floor is an open space with a fully-fitted well equipped kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, oven and micro-wave), a dining room and a living room with a sofa and a fireplace. It opens up on the terrace where you can relax and eat out in the spring and the summer (sometimes even in the winter) On the top floor, you will find a beautiful bedroom with a double-bed, and 2 single beds in the mezzanine, as well as a bathroom with shower and toilets.  Come and enjoy  the pure mountain air - the countless hikes - the local specialties - the lakes, the torrents and the waterfalls - the breathtaking views - the wild flora and fauna - the picturesque villages - the mythical passes - the nature sports. Please note that bed linen, bath towels and housecleaning are not included but can be provided on demand, at an additional cost.

Wherever possible, we provide our own reception service. If we are really unavailable, a concierge will be on hand to welcome you from 5 p.m. on the Saturday of your arrival and on your departure Saturday morning.
