Welcome At the Jouanne, 3 guest rooms of quality, located in the countryside, about 15 km by car from Yssingeaux and 20 km from Le Puy-en-Velay. The three bedrooms are all nestled in a spacious house with wooden frame and walk-in. Each bedroom has adjoining sanitary and private (walk-in shower, washbasin, WC). One of the three bedrooms (SAPIN room) is accessible to people with reduced mobility and has 4 beds (1 double bed and 2 single beds bunk). The rooms are particularly warm because they are all dressed in wood. 3 local species were used for the creation of rooms : fir, poplar and chestnut. Each eponymous room has its own essence of wood. The rooms open directly onto a large paved and covered terrace, with direct access to the garden. A relaxation room is available to guests (room with sofas, board games and books for all public available). In the extension of the rooms and the terrace, presence of a large living room bright (large windows) and adjoining the private part of the owners, where will be served the breakfasts and the evening meals (table d'hôtes). Annie and Albert, the owners of the place are dedicated to serving you healthy and tasty dishes. Local products showcase fresh produce and most of them are made "homemade"! For example, Annie's delicious jams, from traditional to more special (medlars, rose hip, elder ...), they will delight your taste buds! At dinner, garden vegetables, country meat and local cheeses will be honored by Albert, a trained chef. The products used being fresh, specify if you wish to dine during your reservation. The dinner will be charged 20 € / person. At the Jouanne, you are in the paradise of hikers. If you want to leave for the day, it is with pleasure that Annie will make you a small snack with local flavors : a good country ham sandwich, a little Yssingeaux fourme ... and there is strong to bet that Albert will slip his hand in the middle to add you one of the culinary surprises of which he has the secret ! Outside, the garden is landscaped and is pleasantly flowered in the summer. Wooden garden furniture and sun loungers are available. Many outdoor activities are available to all: hiking (PR and GR40), cycling, horse riding, river fishing, via ferrata Pertuis, visit the ravine of Corboeuf Rosières (fragile and amazing clay canyon multicolored protected by a lava flow), the Jouanne is 20 km from Puy-en-Velay, a city of art and history, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
