In the south of the Haute-Vienne, at the gateway to the Périgord and Corrèze regions, this pretty gîte offers a peaceful setting ideal for visits and leisure activities. On the ground floor of her house, Michelle will give you a warm welcome. During your stay in your totally independent gîte, you will be able to enjoy the privacy of your private garden (except for maintenance and watering), which is south-facing and shady, offering a lovely view of the lake (especially in low and mid season because of the vegetation). Nearby (600m): - Swimming and water sports at the lake. - Town centre and shops - Hiking and fishing Saint-Yirieix (1km), classified as one of France's Most Beautiful Detours - Visit the local crafts: madeleines (created in the 19th century), heritage centre (porcelain, ceramics, etc.) - Heritage House - Richard the Lionheart Route & historic castles - Family activities (gold panning, fun walks with Terra Aventura, treasure hunts, etc.) A little further afield : - Limoges (40km): Visit the UNESCO-listed capital of the arts of fire (enamel, porcelain, etc.) - Ségur-le-Château, Most Beautiful Village in France Tourist tax: €1.10/person/day
