This is a large and magnificent two-storey holiday home, located in Leynhac, near Maurs, which can accommodate up to 8 people. One of its particularities is to be inside a fort dating from the 13th century and to offer a particularly neat decoration, in which noble materials are given pride of place. In the large living / dining room on the ground floor, where stone walls and exposed beams blend harmoniously, you have the opportunity, for example, to have an aperitif or indulge in reading in front of an authentic fireplace. There is no shortage of other living spaces where it is good to linger on in this vacation rental in the Châtaigneraie Cantalienne! We echo the sumptuous cellar in the basement where a cozy living room has been fitted out with a real American billiard table, as well as the room in which sits a superb jacuzzi, capable of accommodating up to 5 people, accessible from the both inside and out. This 175 m2 house has 4 bedrooms (3 with 160 cm beds and a fourth with a 180 cm bed), a comfortably equipped kitchen, among others. Another pleasure that is difficult to do without when staying in this characterful residence: the panoramic terrace, one of the places where it is very pleasant to eat (barbecue available), but also to enjoy the sunny moments. You should also know that small dogs are accepted (under 10 kg) in this accommodation, with supplement 50€, cleaning in addition 120€. Auvergne monuments and destinations to see Several places of interest attract travelers to the area. Starting with the nearby Chapelle du Pont, precisely located 5 km from Leynhac. Located on the course of a regularly used hiking trail, this restored structure dating from the 12th century houses remarkable frescoes. In the surrounding Aveyron, another chapel deserves some attention, it is located on the Gironde site in Saint-Parthem. In his lair, you will certainly appreciate his reliquary as well as his various paintings. From this building, you can also contemplate a breathtaking view of the Lot Valley. If you have the time and the desire to discover other destinations in the region, head for Conques and Marcolès. The first is a fortified village with undeniable charm, particularly famous for the Sainte-Foy Abbey Church and the Château d'Humières. In Marcolès, the Saint-Martin church dating from the 15th century serves as a key monument. An animal park and canoeing on the Lot We invite you, in the same town of Cantal, to take the start in a rosalie - a small 3 or 4-wheeled vehicle - for a more than memorable stroll on the surrounding footpaths! If you are staying with your family in Leynhac, you must go to the Vallée des Daims, a superb animal park in which many deer live together. For our guests wishing to contemplate the Auvergne landscapes from a unique angle, make a stop at the Port of Vieillevie, where it is possible to practice canoeing in idyllic conditions. Want a more cultural activity? Visit the Maison de la Châtaigne in Puycapel, a fascinating eco-museum, and linger in front of its chestnut tree, more than half a millennium old. Your holidays must above all be placed under the sign of idleness? Take a short getaway to the Estanquiol pond, in the town of Calvinet, for a swim (ideally in summer) that won't disappoint you!
