The route to the gîte takes you through narrow, one-way streets, and is not very easy to follow. If you have a GPS, as not all the alleyways are listed, enter 3 rue Bel Air in Daoulas, as this will bring you closest to the gîte. Otherwise, here's a step-by-step itinerary: - When you arrive in Daoulas, follow the main road (route de Brest) to the crossroads with traffic lights (the only one in Daoulas). - Turn right (rue du Pont) for 70 m. - At the 4-stop crossroads, turn right again and continue along rue du Pont for 150 m, skirting Etang du Moulin. - At the top of rue du Pont, turn left (rue de l'Eglise) and drive up the street for 150m. - Turn right (rue St Roch), leaving the cemetery and abbey on your left, and follow the road for 60m. - Turn right again (rue Bel Air), follow the road for 250m, until you reach a crossroads where the road widens. - When you come to a house with a red-tiled roof, turn right into the very narrow (unnamed) alleyway (one-way street leading downhill), go downhill for 15m and turn right into your car park.
