It's about a character house dating from 1833, fully restored with taste combining charm, tradition and modernity. Combine in particular with the authentic stone walls of beautiful beams wooden walls, giving an incomparable cachet to this accommodation in the center of Cantal.
This cottage with an area of 110 m2 can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people. There are two bedrooms upstairs, one with a 140 cm bed, the other with two 90 cm beds.
On the ground floor, there is a remarkable living room equipped with a wood stove in the its “cantou”, emblematic equipment of the Occitan heritage.
Outside, a terrace with garden furniture and plancha allow you to share meals outdoors. air, in a setting conducive to relaxation. Added to this is a parking space adjoining the house for a car and a covered and closed location ideal for motorbikes.

Half an hour from our mountain accommodation, you also have the opportunity to contemplate the impressive Garabit Viaduct, a contemporary work which was still the highest viaduct in the world until 1886.

Due to our privileged location, we meet the expectations of all our guests, whatever their aspirations in terms of leisure. This mountain lodge to the south of Murat is first and foremost a paradise for downhill and Nordic skiers. While the former hurtle down the slopes of the Prat-de-Bouc ski area, the latter roam the snowy paths of Lioran, a resort nestled among the fir trees. Throughout the year, it is pleasant to follow the many hiking trails that surround the Plomb du Cantal, the highest peak in Albepierre-Bredons. Among them, we invite you to realize that of the Cirque de Chamalière, it allows you to marvel at the volcanic relics of a mythical glacier of the department. Another place in which holidaymakers like to have fun is the Lake of Grandval, a popular site for fans of fishing and water skiing. Finally, to guests whose stay is above all synonymous with idleness, we recommend going to take advantage of the innumerable virtues offered by the thermal baths of Chaudes-Aigues.
