As a resort for your next vacation, we invite you to set sail for Salilhès in Thiézac, near Vic-sur-Cère. You will spend your stay in a sumptuous stone house, located in a particularly calm environment, in the heart of Cantal.
It is more precisely an old farmhouse that has undergone a complete and careful renovation. On the ground floor of this accommodation for 4 people, there is a living room with a television, a very comfortably equipped kitchen, and a bathroom, among others. What makes it a typical south-west rental is the presence of a large Cantou, a historic heating solution, accompanied by a pellet stove (fuel provided). Upstairs are two bedrooms of 15 m2, one of them with a 180 x 200 cm bed, the other with 2 90 x 200 cm beds that can be joined together. It is possible to take colors, read a book or even have lunch outside the house, taking advantage of the remarkable view offered on the Cère Valley. . However, 4G is present and stable, allowing other travelers to enjoy their online content whenever they want.
The grandiose panoramas and the Cantal fortresses to visit
The surroundings are full of sites worthy of interest, our previous guests can fully attest to this. For lovers of rejuvenating natural environments, we recommend going first to see the nearby Faillitoux waterfall, with a waterfall of about forty meters. Then, you have every interest in reaching the summit of Puy Mary, from where you can admire an exceptional panorama in all seasons. As another preserved place that leaves none of our holidaymakers, there are the superb Gorges de la Jordanne. His “discovery trail” is an opportunity to be amazed and enrich his camera with many shots of breathtaking beauty. While exploring the region, also take the trouble to discover its most majestic works, like these fortresses in an excellent state of preservation. If there were two visits to recommend to you less than half an hour from our beautiful seasonal rental near Vic-sur-Cère, they would be those of the Château de Pesteils and Anjony, emblematic of the Auvergne heritage. Do not hesitate to ask us, whether you want to schedule a visit or you need information about the top destinations around Thiézac.
Golf, fishing, hiking and mountain biking nearby
Whether you come with your family, as a couple or with friends, we guarantee you an entertaining stay, whatever your tastes! Very close to our old farm renovated into a holiday home in stone, you can take the hike called “La Porte du Lion”, a route that allows you to observe the attractive landscapes while admiring a built heritage dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. We then suggest a stop at the Golf Club de Vezac, an 18-hole course on which players practice their passion in a friendly atmosphere.
During the winter season but also during the rest of the year, it is necessarily pleasant to go to Lioran, a relatively close mountain station where visitors indulge in various disciplines (cross-country skiing, mountain biking, paintball etc.). If your weekend or your holidays in Cantal are more synonymous with idleness, a getaway to Chaudes-Aigues is a must! There, you will inevitably revel in its thermal waters with 1,001 virtues. Finally, let's not forget the Lac des Graves, a theater of varied activities for adults and children alike: pony rides, tree climbing, fly fishing...
