Château de Joudes Saint-Amour is a mansion constructed between the 17th and 19th centuries. Joudes - Saint-Amour is only 2.5 hours from Paris by high-speed train, 1.25 hours from Lyon and 1.5 from Geneva by car. It is located at the crossroads of three French regions: Burgundy in the North, Franche-Comté in the North-East and Rhône-Alpes in the South. The castle lies at the foot of the Jura Mountains, on the slopes of the Revermont, at the heart of a 10 ha wooded park.
The house is adapted to a community lifestyle but also provides private and intimate spaces: French style living-rooms, a rustic bookcase-filled library, dedicated classrooms. A free Wifi connection available throughout the property will keep you in contact with the rest of the world.
We hope you will enjoy settling into one of the castle’s charming guest rooms, a single or double bedroom with private bathroom facilities, entirely renovated, of varying sizes and elegant atmosphere. In the kitchen, and on demand, Martine will cook traditional French meals for you and will help you to discover the produce of the region and its variety.
On site, there are a volleyball court, a table tennis table and of course surfaces for “petanque” (bowls) -- and hammocks!
EMMA Gîte
The EMMA gite is a large studio of over 45 m², located on the ground floor of the Farm and accessible to people with reduced mobility. Like all the rooms in this building, it finely combines rusticity and modernity. It has private toilets and sanitary.
