Having come with my parents on holiday to this magnificent region, a few decades later I had the opportunity to acquire a plot of land in order to build a building out of local wood and to fit out a small gîte with a very comfortable interior, rated Three Stars for tourism. To help others discover this magical area, which is my second adopted country, I want to guide you through the thousands of places that are still in their natural state, so that you can discover and enjoy the beauty of this beautiful region, which deserves all your attention. And don't forget the regional gastronomy, made up of Charcuterie Montagnarde, other sausages and cheeses, of which Comté is king, and not forgetting the typical wines of the Jura hillsides, with the Vin Jaune so specific to our region. The natural Nordic ski trails, snowshoes, sled dogs in winter are accessible from the cottage on foot. Hello everyone, Having come as a child with my parents to this region (Chaux de Crotenay), I subsequently made it my adopted home because of the beauty of the place. As luck would have it, I was able to buy a plot of land to build a house out of local wood, and to create a small, comfortable gîte for people who wanted to share this part of the Jura, which is located in the Haut Jura Regional Nature Park, a thousand unspoilt natural sites.
