Andorra, the magnificent city of Carcassonne and Toulouse are just an hour's drive away. For cycling fans, there are the must-do Tour de France circuits and this year's finish at the Plateau de Beille on 14 July. And what else? Water activities such as canoeing 2 km away, rafting for the more sporty or pedal-boating at the water sports centre and its water-skiing facilities! In fact, there's so much to do! The gite is 5 minutes from the spa in Ussat les bains. The land is flat, so you can get there on foot or by bike without any problem. Private parking space in the residence car park. You'll need to think about your bathroom linen. Alternatively, you can hire towels for the duration of your stay. * We have opted for a private toilet, separate from the bathroom. * In the entrance hall there is a large dressing room with a laundry area and washing machine. Situated on the 3rd floor with lift, this location gives you a view of the mountains and you can enjoy the sunsets. So there's no need to live opposite, you'll have a direct view of the mountains. Tarascon/Ariège town centre is 2 km away, with shops and services. The gite does not welcome animals, even though we love them.

It is on the 1st floor with lift of a quiet residence. There is also a private parking space at the rear of the building. The flat is bright thanks to its north/west aspect. It is close to a number of places of interest that are not to be missed (the Lombrives cave, the largest in Europe, the Niaux cave with its original prehistoric drawings, the Foix castle and its interactive museum). The gîte is non-smoking.
