The Tramway du Mont-Blanc is an iconic cogwheel train that links Saint-Gervais-les-Bains to the Bellevue resort, then continues its ascent to the Nid d'Aigle, perched at an altitude of 2,372 metres. Put into service in 1910, it is one of the oldest mountain tramways in France.
