. The Basque Country cultivates its natural heritage and offers various sites to amaze its visitors. These include Labenne Zoo, home to more than 200 animals from the four corners of the globe. Mammals include raccoons, Bennett's wallabies and Canadian wolves. The region also boasts an incredibly rich historical heritage. If there were only two monuments to visit, it would be the cathedral of Sainte-Marie in Bayonne and the impressive church of Saint-Jean-Baptiste in Saint-Jean-de-Luz.
