Every summer, Pralognan-la-Vanoise celebrates its high mountain guides through the Fête de l'Alpe et des Guides, an emblematic event rooted in the history of mountaineering. It's no coincidence that this alpine resort is home to the 3rd largest Compagnie des Guides in France!

For one weekend, come and pay tribute to these passionate individuals who, summer after summer, share their knowledge and love of the peaks with hikers, mountaineers and climbers. A sound and light show, parade, blessing of ropes and ice axes, presentation of medals... All in a warm atmosphere of tradition and emotion.

A highlight not to be missed, at the foot of the giants of the Vanoise, including the mythical summit of Grande Casse, at an altitude of nearly 4,000 m.
