Created in 1975, the Jean-Marie Pelt Botanical Garden has become one of the largest and most important botanical gardens in France. It is home to more than 12,000 plant species, spread across a 35-hectare park and 2,500 m² of tropical greenhouses. Visitors can explore themed collections ranging from the common plants found in our gardens to exotic and rare species from the four corners of the globe.
Among the garden's many botanical treasures, you can admire the Alpinum, featuring plants from mountainous regions, the Arboretum with its majestic trees, the Rose Garden with its thousand scents, as well as specialist collections of medicinal and historical plants. Every corner of the garden tells a story and offers an opportunity to marvel, whether you are a botanical enthusiast or simply curious.

Recognised for its scientific importance, the garden has been awarded the "Remarkable Garden" label by the Ministry of Culture and Communication, and also serves as a refuge for the League for the Protection of Birds (LPO).
